Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

When my mom wrote her will she gave us 3 kids 50k. My cousin is the executor of that money. Now if my mom stated that she wants him to handle my portion of the money, and he refuses to give it to me is that possible?

It is not entirely clear from your question whether we are talking about an estate or a trust. If your mother is still living, I will assume we are talking about a trustee. If your mother has passed, then we could be talking about an executor or a trustee. If your mother has left money to you in trust, it is certainly possible that the trustee is simply following the instructions in the relevant trust agreement. I'm afraid more information is needed. Please feel free to contact my office if you would like to gather your paperwork and schedule an office consultation.

To answer your question, an attorney would have to review the language in the will.
