Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

Moving company

We had a moving company that quoted us 1344 for our move and in the end charged us 1775. They tried to say we had more stuff then we had. They damaged our belongings and lied to us several times. There is also a law stating you can not charge more then 110% of the nonbiding estimate - which was 1344. They broke this law. They also told me they would only give me the ''low'' price of 1775 if I agreed to write a letter stating they were a ''good company and I have no complaints''. How can I sue this company for my money back?

This sounds like extortion. Not only do they have an obligation regarding the price, but they also have an obligation to reimburse you for the damaged goods.

This also sounds like consumer fraud.
