Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

My neighbor's tall willowy bushes growing on his side of the [property line have bent over to my side all the way to the ground and are sightly and also interfere with the growth of my grass. Whose responsibility is it to cut his bushes on my side?

Be very careful. A Mass. statute provides draconian penalties for cutting down a neighbor's "trees," what ever that means. I have been involved in these cases before, and they are messy. Best to talk it over with your neighbor and reach an agreement with him or her.
