Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts
Personal Liablity for Actions
Female relentlessly pursues a married man with constant offering of sexual favors: Married man gives in, wife finds out, family almost destoryed. Lots of couseling 2 yrs later, same female, same relentless persuit, Man gives in again. Wife finds out again, life destoryed. Kids lives are destroyed. Are there ANY laws against what this Female did? Is it possible that she can completley destroy the lives of 4 people and lose nothing? Thank you.

I would have to know more about the "relentless pursuit" and the circumstances under which the husband gave in before telling you whether you or your spouse had a claim. Please feel free to contact me. 978.250.4255
Re: Personal Liablity for Actions
In Massachusetts, you cannot sue for "heart balm" reasons. Go to my website --www.falseallegations.com. There I have uploaded the case that explains it all.
Adultery has fallen into "desuetude." That's like Rhett Butler saying to Scarlett O'Hara, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn." The problem is Everyone Is Doing It, Including the Judges.
About the only thing adultery is good for nowadays is a legal ground for divorce.
In Maine, adultery has been repealed. So has bigamy.
So if you want to sue the girlfriend, you must be clever about it . . . to think of another theory on which to sue.
Re: Personal Liablity for Actions
From the facts you described, it sounds like the cause of action that you may have had has been eliminated in Massachusetts. Also think about this, if you can sue her, she may have a counterclaim against you.
