Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts
What can a plaintiff do if they were not given time to respond to a motion before an order was made?
I sent in a response on time yet received a premature order on a motion after I served all parties. I had three days left to respond, did so via mail (not electronically), it is dated and I need my papers on the docket. Should the Clerk docket my response even after the order was made? Can I file something in objection to the premature ruling and get my response on the docket?

File a motion for reconsideration if you object to the order.
