Promissory Note but involves 3 States
I am the Lender and live in New York State. The borrower moved this week to Massachusetts from Rhode Island. The security (the borrower's automobile) is currently registered in Rhode Island.
The laws of which of the 3 above states will govern this contract?

Generally, the law of the stae where the cont5ract was bargained for and entered into governs, unlss the writing states otherwise.
