can they repo my car if have more equty on it than the bank???

can a bank repossess a car if you have more equity in it than the bank does? for instance my car is worth $20,000 but i have $11,000 in equity on it.

Yes. Under the terms of your loan, your automobile provides security that the bank can recover the money it lent you. As a result, the bank may repossess your vehicle and sell it at auction, to ensure they get their money back. The amount of your equity would not prevent the bank from following through with a repossession. Before the sale, however, you would have a period of time in which you could send the bank the money you owe and recover your car from them.
