Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

i had to go to small claims court in mass. the plaintiff didn't show up. the court said we are done with the matter. 2 days later i get a notice of motion to rehear, the plantiff went to the wrong court?

The Plaintiff will have to prove both that he has a viable claim against you and a good excuse for not appearing the day the case was dismissed to get the case reinstated. You should attend on time and argue against both issues and document what expenses his failure to appear caused you.. Good Luck.
