Stolen Vacation

Three guys decide to go on a fishing trip (A,B,C). C drops out, pays his 1/3 to A and B, says he is open to offers if someone else wants to go. Without C's knowledge or consent A gives C's reservation to A's cousin (D). A's reasoning is ''it would have been wasted'' !

C entitled to relief ? From A or D or Both ?

Civil or criminal? Which laws ? Share price was $1,200.00 each.
