Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

My wife was seeing a therapist and her therapist broke my wives confidentiality my wife was depressed at the time and her therapist keep on her asking her if i was hitting her and she would not stop it, many times my wife said no and stop asking her this, one day her therapist brought someone from the court house and took her away and they filed criminal charges on me. and serious ones too. They put my wife and a shelter and then my wife called me and said to get her out so i did,we went to court and the charges were dropped, we filed a complaint and the therapist was found guilty and fined by the licensed board. There is more to the story but this is it in a nut shell, we want to know if we have a case against her and maybe the place of work.
