wrongful death of our dog

when we went on vacation we boarded our dog at a kennel. The Kennel called us to inform us the dog was dead. They said the dog got caught on some cable and choked to death.

Can we suit them? If so can you tell us what we can suit them for?

You may sue them for wrongful death of your dog. The value of your dog, the length of time you owned her and your emotional distress, are the elements you can recover. The Kennel should have insurance for these situations, ask them to notify their carrier. If no insurance, get the matter into suit quickly to try and get an attachment on their assets.
