Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts
I am an American citizen, who lived in Canada for 20 years, during my marriage. I am legally separated, but not divorced. I moved back to the US 7 years ago, and have been working here. I want to move back to Canada to live near my children (4 adult children all in their 20's). My question is can I legally move back, and just re-establish a residence. I have a SIN number that I used when working in Canada. I was classified a landed immigrant, but don't know if that status expires? What do I need to do to move to Canada with my belongings?

You need to consult with a Canadian immigration attorney regarding re-establishing your residence. Since you are a U.S. citizen, you will not have any problems with traveling or staying out the U.S. Good luck.
