Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

F1 student missed class registration. Can I stay in states or have to leave?

For some reason, I missed deadline for school class registration. As the result I cannot register any class this semester. Can I stay in US or have to leave? If I have to leave, when? in 10 days or 30 days after semester start? If I could get a medical record from a doctor in US to prove I should take a break for this semester because of my health problem, can I stay in US?

Go to the Designated School Official. If you are an F-1, you can reinstate status within four months of failing to maintain status, but don't delay.While the immigration rules permit it, the school might not and there's no guarantee that you will be reinstated even if you request reinstatement within the four months.
