Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

Hi filing

I'm on OPT. My employer is ready to

hire me but doesnot have a lawyer. Is

it possible that I hire my own lawyer

and get the formalities done from the

employer and infact cover the expenses

myself or the lawyer has to be

employed by the company.

Re: Hi filing

It can be done either way. The only thing that you need to be aware of is that if you hire the attorney then there are certain H-1B fees that the employer is required to pay. Also, if you hire the attorney it may be a good idea to be sure that the lawyer does the Public Access Documents for the employer.
