Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

my husband and i had our initial interview on march 2009 at the immigration office in boston, mass. has temporary green card waiting for permanent. On wednesday morning of this week we were visited by surprise at 7:30 in the morning by three men who were from homeland security they came in and ask us both several questions and then said we had a nice apartment and left. What happens now?

I cannot say what happens without knowing more about your case. Was the March 2009 interview for the green card and then it was granted?
