Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

I live in mass. My daughter wants to marry a man from Brazil. He is in jail for not being here legally. She is pregnant and they want to get married. Do they have to get married in Brazil or is there a way he can stay here without going back to Brazil? He has worked here for 5 years and never been in trouble. My daughter is due in July and they would like to get this handled soon and his lawyer is very, very expensive. Thank you.

If your daughter's boyfriend/fiance is in detention than he's facing deportation. Whether or not he'll be able to stay will depend upon his record with immigration as well as his criminal record.
