Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

Sponsor For Legal Papers

I wanted if I can still fill papers for my husband to come to states if I was convicted of a crime or if i've been to court due to legal issues, the problem is that its been so long I don't even remember the details of my case, I just wanted to know how immigration deals with those issues.

The family-based petitioner's criminal background is irrelevant to the immigration case, so long as such background doesn't either (a) relate to immigration-related fraud or (b) impinge on the petitioner's ability to financially support the beneficiary.
