submitting form n-400 from abroad and how to correctly fill in part 7
In looking through all the materials on becoming a US Citizen through naturalization (form N-400), it is not clear wether it is possible to apply from abroad and if so, how to correctly fill in part 7 of the form. For example, what should be entered in the ''date you returned to the United States'' column, even though you are still abroad? Can you please advise?

If you satisfy all the requirements, you should file you application after you come to the US. There is a requirement that you reside in the district of filing for at least three months before filing your application. It is also questionable whether you satisfy other requirements.
