Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

Visitor's Visa

I have a friend who has a Visitor's visa, she isnt suppossed to stay in the country for more than 3 months at a time, and only a total of 6 months during the year. She is staying for aboyt 6 days more than three months on her current and forst visit of the year, could that bring legal ramifications? Could her visitor's visa--name removed--revoked for that reason?

Re: Visitor's Visa

Dear Inquirer:

An overstay on a tourist visa could result in cancellation of the visa, however, a minimal violation of only 3 days probably would not arouse the concern of DHS.
