Legal Question in Insurance Law in Massachusetts

Homeowners policy claim

Wind storm damaged roof shingles and insurance co. only wants to pay for fixing the front half of my roof which would leave me with a new looking roof on front and a old roof, different color on back. I have guarantee cost replacement coverage. Do i have any recourse? I'm in Massachusetts. Thanks

Re: Homeowners policy claim

Id' have to see the policy language and assess the insurance company's position as compared to the policy language. Its impossible to know otherwise. Contact me if you want me to take an initial peek. If there's a claim, and a lawyer is involved, the chances of the insurance company suddenly "changing its mind," or agreeing to provide better coverage are far greater. And if they decline full coverage in bad faith, there are legal penalties that could be worth prusuing. Feel free to contact me.
