Legal Question in Insurance Law in Massachusetts

Miss Representation

I believe I have been

misrepresented by a law office, regarding an auto inccident.

At the time of the accident no insurance information was exchanged. Basically I wanted to have the police come and make a report and the other party invovled did not. long story short the other part gave me a name and number. I went home tried to call and the number was not valid. A while later the police came to my home.

The law office was trying to make claim against my auto insurance becuase there was no police report, and they didn't know the other parties invovled information.

My question is couldn't the other parties information have been obtained by seeing a police record of who called to have the police dispatched to my home?

Re: Miss Representation

It is unclear from your post whether you are currently involved in a law suit. You should probably speak with an attorney.
