Copyright Infringement
In May 2004 I heard a segment of my registered song played on a major cable network on three different days. How can I prove that my song was infringed if I failed to record the show?

It's called "discovery" if things have to go that far -- in litigation, a party can compel the other party to produce documents and other materials; plainly, the network would have some kind of records showing what music was played, and would retain copies of the aired segment. A demand letter for royalties would likely suffice, however.
