Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Massachusetts
I came up with an idea making my own website for business. First, I need to know what's the regulations and rules to patent or copyright my website's name and content, because I will be making money off this website. Is there anyone I should speak to in person about what I need to do? Thank you for your help and looking forward to hearing from you. Giovanni

Patent is most unlikely fit but it should not be dismissed out of hand. Copyright protects only the code, not the business concept. Trademark protects a brand name but not an underlying business model associated with the brand. Do give me a call and I can provide advice specific to your circumstances.
