Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Massachusetts

I want to pursue a TM for a new product - SuperHUB Data Controller. We will have a family of products with a designator such as SuperHUB 3 or SuperHUB 6X. My question is can the (TM) go after SuperHUB (preferred) or does it have to go after the designator. So SuperHUB(TM) 6X Data Controller or SuperHUB 6X(TM) Data Controller?
