I picked up my son for the weekend and he refuses to go home.he is 16 and says if he goes home he will run away.What can I do?

Call up the other spouse and advise this of this problem, and try to reach a solution.

You can be cited for contempt by the other spouse, and you should advise you son. If found in contempt, then you can be forced to pay attorney's fees.

Unless your son has a legitimate fear of real harm, that means something like physical harm, then your son must go back.

Notable, is that you have said NOTHING about your son's rationale for refusing to go back.
