Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts
A Change in position
I have a work related situation. Was out on workman's comp. Got a call from work saying position has changed. Stated ''this can't keep happening on my floor. Was out because workman's comp sent nurse to access situation, and said she was taking control of matter. First time, in all the years of my reactions, have I received attention to my condition like now. New position too stressful to handle. Made to feel as though work related issue is my fault, and this is a way of repremanding me. Feel as though I either take the position given, or leave. Condition has been happening for several years, hard to complain about, due to high demands of job. Last few years, it's been hard not to complain, due to reactions of condition. Reactions produces bad flare ups. Would like to know if any of this sounds like some sort of discrimination, due to my condition (loosing my position)?

This sounds like a complex situation. You should speak with an attorney in your area who practices in Worker's Comp.
