Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts
Do I still get my commission if I am fired?
I was recently fired from my job. They only paid me my commissions paid from the previous month. No last weeks pay, no vacation pay, and about $4208 in bonuses and future commissions I already earned.
There policy for commissions is: Commision are not earned or due and payable to employees unitl the sale or rental amount has been paid in full and all retal items have been returned to the warehouse facility. Commissions earned are due and payble through the last day of employment.
DO I STILL GET ALL THIS MONEY I EARNED?
Thanks for your help.

You should get commissions if earned upon termination, as well as accrued vacation pay and salary through any days actually worked. If you don't, you can file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office - Division of Fair Labor and Business Practices.

You are entitled to salary and vacation pay if earned. Contact Wage and Hour administration at Attorney General's office. If the commissions you claim meet the requirements of the policy, you are entitled to them, if not you are not. If you are entitled, AG can also pursue for you.
