Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

I believe I have been discriminated against due to my medical issues. I was called into my superiors office back in June. I was asked what my intentions were with my medical conditions. I must have made a facial expression because then it was said that I should rephrase that! Was asked why I had not taken out my short term disability that I carry. I told them that I had pre-existing conditions that would not be covered.I was told that I had a wonderful family etc. etc. and they would be willing to do anything to help. That clearly they could see the pain I was in. Asked what they could do for me. I mentioned to be layed off and was told that would not be the answer to my conditions and would not help me. Then told that I could collect for 2 years??? I told them I could not afford to be without work. Told I exhausted all my sick days which at that point I had not.

Almost three months have passed and I have not collected on my short term, denied the first time because of pre existing. Trying again with new diagnose.

Called a couple of weeks ago to see about a loan told I could not have one that I exhausted all my aquired time and thats what they use to borrow against. Also told a bonus was coming the following week explained to my HR that my lights were in jeopardy of being shut off, they submitted my bonus early. When going to pick up the check the HR had gone to my work building to tell my superiors of my situation. I felt so embarassed and violated when my superior said how bad she felt that my lights were going to be shut off. Does HR have the right to tell my bosses my personal business? I feel like I have been discriminated against because I have medical conditions.
