Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

discrimination

My fiance is a Dominican Legal in the Usa. His boss call him names and makes him do harder work then the other employees. He always tells him to go to school for english even though he speakes it. How do I prove this is discrimanation when no one will admit it?

It's very rare that people will "admit" to discrimination....so don't hold your breath. However, if your fiance is being treated this way, and he believes it's because of his national origin/ancestry, he should consider filing a complaint. I am not sure what state your fiance is working in - if he's in Massachusetts, he should go the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination in Boston. I do not know where to go if he's working in RI. Regardless of the state he is working in, he should meet with a qualified lawyer to get an accurate and thorough assessment of his case. Good luck!
