Employment Interview Reimbursements
I recently attended a job interview in Massachusetts. The company assured me that they would reimburse my travel expenses. At the last minute, they cancelled the interview via e-mail. They did not contact me by phone which I had been speaking to them directly including several times the day of cancellation.I did not review my e-mail and I traveled to Massachusetts. I interviewed with them. They did not advise me at that time that my interview was cancelled. The interview continued and I submitted my expenses. They have failed to pay these expenses for 4 months. What can I do?

If they do business here in California, sue them in small claims court for breach of contract.
