Is it legal to fire someone for breaking their finger outside of work?

I would need far more detail regarding this issue including, the company name, the employment title, the type of work, the start and ending date, employee status i.e. contract or at will employment,

the injury and if it affected your ability with reasonable accommodation perform the major part of the work
