Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

I live and work in MA. The company I work for is requiring us (staff) to wear their polo's, but want me to buy the clothing myself. Isn't it illegal to not supply uniforms you are requiring employees to wear?

It's not illegal, but odd.

You have to make a choice between the job and the job requirement.
