Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts
do i have to pay a draw back if I quit
I am a MA wage employee in sales. I receive a salary plus have been getting a draw against future commissions. I have just given my notice. Can my employer deduct my draw balance from my remaining salary check? I have never signed anything or even verbally agreed to paying back any difference if I quit.
Please advise.

Yes. If you took an advance against future earnings, your employer can balance the books (so to speak) against your final paycheck.
