Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts
I was recently fired after working in a call center for 4 years with no support in advancement. I was found to have disconnected 300 calls between January 2011 and May 2011, and after receiving a final written warning in 2009 for the same thing, I was let go. Problem is, I know for a fact other former colleagues have done it and still do...however I was the only one let go. The part that concerns me the most is that my exboss told me a report was run to determine how many calls I had dropped and if this is the case, Im sure colleagues names came up....I am arab, muslim and I know a secret about the boss....he has an unprofessional relationship with one of his employees.
Any thoughts?

Do you really believe that you were fired due to your race and/or ethnicity? If so, can you point to any facts to support this? Does the employer hire other employees of your same ethnicity? If so, does the employer discipline or terminate those employees more often? As to your knowledge of some inappropriate conduct by the supervisor, do you think that factored in the decision to terminate? If so, why do you believe that? Also, did you ever complain or show your disapproval of such situation? Whether you have a viable claim and whether you should pursue it is highly dependent on the specific facts.
