Re: search records for cases against an individual
Look for his/her name in a Table of Cases (to check if cases were appealed to the Mass. Appeals COurt or to the Mass. Supreme Judicial COur.
Go to the Superior Court in the COUNTY in which the person resides. Put his/her name in the computer in the clerk's office.
Go to the Superior Court in the COUNTY in which the person WORKS. Put his/her name in the computer in the clerk's office.
The local district courts do not have jurisdiction over employment cases, so it is UNnecessry to look in those courts.
If someone sued that person, that someone MIGHT have filed the employment law case in federal court. Look there, too. U.S. District Court at Boston. ANother U.S. District Court in Springfield. Depends on where employing company was lcoated.
