Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

TN Visa and Unemployment

I am currently working in the US with a TN visa and I have unmployment deducted from my pay. Since part of the provision of the TN is that you leave the country when employment terminates how do you collect the unemployment benifits or should the employer even be deducting them?

If you aren't fired before your visa runs out you are not entitled to unemployment benefits. In any event, you should call INS to see if anything should be being deducted from your pay for unemployment benefits.
