Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts
Unemployment
I returned from my maternity leave, and 4 weeks into my return, I was not doing the job that I had left with. I was now doing the job of another employee(different job class) as well as my own. The new responsibility kept me on several occasions from getting out on time. I lost my daycare provider because of my frequent tardiness. I requested to go part time, (I said it would not be forever)Just until I could secure a facility to care for my daughter. I was told no. I had to quit I did not have an alternative. I applied for unemployment, I was denied. I have requested an appeal. Would the reason I quit good cause? Do I have a chance of collecting?

Re: Unemployment
You should appeal denial of unemployment if it's not too late. Indicate that you quit because of gender discrimination, to wit, discrimination based on children.
You can file a claim with the MAssachusetts Commission AGainst Discrimination within 300 days of the last act of discrimination.
