Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

Wages

I found an error on a commission statement in Sept. 03 and emailed my employer telling them of the mistake. We followed up with phone conversations and they said that it would be corrected. I have just discovered that it still is not correct ($3500) and their response was that it was too late. I believe I am due my back wages! I earned them. Is there a statute of limitations on collecting this? Shouldn't they be required to pay me?
