Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts
On August 6th , 2007 i agreed to pay my arrears . I finished the
payments on August 3rd 2009. seeking closure i spoke with the property
manager Keya Alvarez, who reported i have a credit of $1,164.00. for
the past year and a half i have denied myself the proper medication
and experienced emotional distress due to this discrepancy. Shortly
afterwards, management informs me that my rent is increased to $960.00
verses $917.00 monthly. Also the defendants changed my anniversary
from July 1st 09 to May 1st 09. Can they do this without notifying me
in advanced?
