Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts

My boyfriend & I found an apartment & moved in 2 months ago. We both signed the lease. During the time before we moved in to now, there was never any written or verbal agreement as to who would pay what. Last week, my boyfriend decided that he no longer wanted to be in a relationship & wanted to be alone. He told me that he wanted me to move out & after doing my research stating that I didn't have to leave, he said he was going to have me removed from the lease. He just told me today that he plans on moving out. What are my options? What can I do?
