Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts
My landlord is trying to vacate us. I am a single mother of 2 teenagers. I pay my rent every month and have for almost 2 years. I am a tenant at will. The landlord's husband does not like us. We do not have parties, my kids don't drink nor smoke. Can they evict us for no just cause?

I am sorry to tell you that either party can terminate a tenancy at will by providing one rental period (but not less than 30 days) notice. If you are looking for more time to move, often an attorney can assist in obtaining additional time, sometimes several months. Feel free to contact our office if you would like some assistance.
