lease illegal apartment
I want to get out of my lease. I found out the apartment was illegal. Can this help me get out of the lease? Thank you

Yes. Consider retaining an attorney to assist you with this as attorney fees MAY be recoverable if the Consumer Protection Law was violated. Good Luck!

Yes. The landlord should not be able to enforce lease for an illegal apartment. You may even be able to get your rent returned. I suggest contacting an attorney in your area.
