lease
i jsut had to move out of old apartment which my ex boyfriend stil living there. we are both on the lease wot 8 months left.i moved out cuz of domestic issues.do i still have to pay half the rent even though he is still living there.

The lease is an agreement with a third party, not you and your boyfriend, so the third party (landlord) can hold you liable if you do not pay.
Reality is simple: if boyfriend doesn't pay the full rent, he (and you) will be evicted by summary process. The summary process judgment for possession and unpaid rent will most likely have your name on it as well as his.
