If my name is on a lease but NOT my signature, am I liable for the rent?
If the person who signed the lease is under 21, are they liable for the rent?

If you didn't sign a lease, you are not responsible for the terms of the contract. However, if you live in the property, you may be obligated to pay rent because you are a tenant. In Massachusetts, a person who is 18 or over is an adult and is responsible for their debts and contracts.
