Lease Terms

If I have an email from a landlord that says ''Why don't we just cut your losses from here, and you should move out as soon as possible. It would be easiest for all of us.'' Does that mean I an held responsible for rent until the end of the lease or does that mean I am free to leave without any strings attached?

That means you should retain an attorney to review your lease and draft such written agreement as is in your best interest. Good Luck!

I would suggest you have a written agreement that says exactly what the agreement is. Do not make it subject to interpretation.

Say it is agreed that if I vacate the premises by ____ date, then ________________.
