Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts

I live in Everett MA and my wife and I just recently discovered bed bugs in our apartment. We first told the landlord and he didn't believe us and did nothing. Then my wife continued to get bit as well as my daughter. We took the baby to the hospital and the doctor told us the bites were from bed bugs. We have told our landlord again but this time he is out of the country for another 20 days. We contacted the city and they issued the landlord a letter. We are currently witholding rent until the problem is resolved. Is there anyway we can get out of our lease?
