Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts
Hi
I live in a house with someone and we share expences and there is no morgage on the house. I give her a lump sum every month and I was wondering if she wanted me out, what are my rights.
She has no reason to wanting us out exept she says she misses her privacy and we have a lifetime contract signed by her and myself.
Can you tell me my rights?
Thank you Evelyn Treadwell

Without reading the contract, it is impossible to advise you. Although generally life time contracts need to be precisely drafted or will be limited to a reasonable (long period of time).
I suggest you take the contract to an attorney and get some advice.
