Last month rent

Im a tennant at will i moved out on aug1st and my rent is uptodate my landlord still has my last months rent how long does he have to return my money?

Assuming you gave him 30 days notice of your termination of the occupancy and gave him the keys to the place, he has 30 days to return the deposit with interest less any claims he has against the deposit.

If you have not given him your new address in writing, I would do so.
