I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

If you have a lease for a set term, your landlord generally may not terminate your tenancy early. Selling the house is not a grounds for termination of a lease agreement, absent terms to the contrary in your lease.

If you are a tenant at will or you have not paid your rent, your tenancy may be terminated in as little as 14 days, otherwise it may be terminated with one full rental period (not less than 30 days) notice.

If you are looking for assistance, you should speak with an attorney about obtaining legal representation.
