Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts

I recently subleased a commercial space. I was unaware until my contractor started renovations that there is no hot water supplied to the space. Is it required by law that the landlord provides hot water or at least a hot water tank to the building and or my unit?

Thank you,

Unless the commercial space is being used for a service that requires hot water and is referenced in the lease, the landlord is not required to provide hot water. For instance, storage or warehouse space does not include hot water as a normal requirement. Without more information a complete answer is not possible.
